Who developed the suture,
Why do we look into the future?
Let’s look at the history of mankind,
You’ll be surprised at what you find,
There’s a story behind the origin of crime,
That’s why I’m taking the time to rhyme.

Anthropologists study our heritage,
They wanna learn about ancient Carthage,
Works on decayed hominid remains,
They excavate them and ship ‘em on trains.
Take a look at some mummified brains,
Oh wait they took em out when they were embalmed,
You ain’t gonna know that if anthropologists weren’t involved.

They get to the museum,
Put them on display people start perusin’ ‘em.
You’ll see a replica of Lucy,
She’s kinda like our mother you see.
